CF 3
The ending of the book is outrageous, so much happens. Everyone involved in the quarter quell make a plan to break out of the arena and be free again. Katniss is the one who ends up breaking the force field that holds them in during the games. She does so by harnessing electricity and directing it at the cage surrounding them. The force field is down and Katniss is knocked unconcious. when she does awake she is being moved to district 13, and learns that some people have been captured by the capitol, one of those being Peeta. The capitol is ridiculous, and in a way this is the little brother fighting back and showing that the big brother does not and will not always control them. This is the second time that katniss has embarrased the capitol and take it out on her district by destroying it. But luckily for Katniss, Gale got Prim and her mom out in time so they were not destroyed by the blast. I cannot wait for this movie to come out and see all the action that will take place. This series is incredible and I cannot wait to read the third one even though people have said it is a disspointment. I still have faith.

Catching Fire Part Two
Katniss and Peeta travel to district 11, as apart of their "Victory tour". Katniss is commemorated by Rues father when he whistles the same tune that she did for Rue. I think that this would be a very special moment to me because you were trying to help out this little girl as much as you could, and tried to protect and even act like an older sister, but they were still battling against one another at the same time. So its as though they had only thought about the time being and not the future where one would have to die. If I was in the hunger games id want to find someone to have a relationship like this with, but then id also be afraid that they might turn against me. I would be in a battle with myself constantly. SO Peeta proposes to Katniss.....and Katniss says yes? to end the revolts? But nothing really ends up happening. If I was Katniss I really wouldnt want to say yes but because Peeta basically screwed her over, she really has no other option. I would be furious.....might even kill him myself....But after Katniss and Peeta return to district 12 they run into people fleeing from district 13 and learn that people do in fact still live there and that Capitol did not wipe them all out. Upon hearing this I would feel relief knowing that not everyone had died, that not all those innocent people had perished for nothing. But once again my mood would change once I heard that there would be a "Quarter Quell", where the past 24 winners will be brought back to fight again in the 75th annual Hunger Games. I dont understand why the Capitol has to be so evil, and so commanding, there like the older brother picking on the younger brother just because they are bigger and stronger. They know they will always win. Its unfair.

CF 1
The new Catching Fire book starts out with excitement. I can only imagine how happy Peeta and Katniss are to get home back to district 12. However, the Capitol ends up coming and calling out Katniss for the shenanigans that she had pulled during the hunger games so that her and Petta could remain alive. If I was Katniss I would be both upset and scared. Upset because the Capitol has ruined your victory, her very impressive survival. Scared because you basically have the whole Capitol, all the leaders in which the country you live, are watching your every move and making sure you dont mess up, and basically looking for anything that they can to use against you. President snow then tells her how she has inspired lots of rebellions throughout the other districts because of her actions. If he told me this I would kind of be happy that people are standing up the bullies who are the Capitol, but then also sad because there are probably alot of deaths happening as well, and alot of deaths that could have been prevented.
